The Ninebot Segway E22E isn’t a bad e-scooter, at all. It rides smoothly on tyres that won’t ever puncture and it has some useful features, particularly cruise control. However, it’s undermined by two major shortcomings: it’s uncomfortable to carry for more than a few seconds and it has disappointing battery life. Sadly, aside from the improved tyres, this e-scooter isn’t a big enough upgrade over the Segway ES series to challenge the best in its price bracket. The best e-scooter for under £400 is still our best budget e-scooter - the Xiaomi M365.

The Ninebot E25E is a perfect ride for beginners, but seasoned riders who enjoy extra range and speed will have to look somewhere else. Even so, the scooter provides excellent value for money if you’re looking for a machine for short commutes and adventures. So, if you are not planning to circumnavigate the entire city, then you won’t regret buying the E25E electric scooter.

Absolutely! Overall, the E45E is an excellent electric scooter, particularly for first-time owners. It’s quite powerful but not overpowering, which makes it ideal for riders looking for a beginner-friendly machine including students and young professionals, who would like to hold on to their initial purchase for years to come. If you’re in the market for an affordable electric scooter with modern tech features and an elegant style, the Ninebot E45E might just be your best buy!
