Product Overview

If you're a speed enthusiast or a daily commuter seeking the thrill of power in an electric scooter, the Inokim OXO might be right up your alley. This beast caters to riders who need speed and range but can be quite hefty for those prioritizing portability.

Design and Build Quality:

Right off the bat, you'll notice the Inokim OXO's robust frame. Constructed with high-grade materials, this scooter feels solid underfoot. The elegant lines and functional design elements really pop, making heads turn as you zip by. Assembling it was pretty straightforward; within no time, I was ready to hit the road.

Overall Performance:

Cruising on this machine is a blast. Commutes become adventures as it reaches top speeds of 64 kph effortlessly, slicing through air like a knife through butter. Hills that used to slow me down? They're nothing to the OXO's might. Braking is responsive, giving me confidence in my stops. And with a 57 km range, my week was filled with worry-free riding.

The Motors & Battery:

Dual hub motors, each packing a punch, deliver an exhilarating 2000w of power combined. During my rides across various terrains, they never waned; instead, they pushed forward with vigor. The battery life held true to its promise as well — even after prolonged use, I returned home with power to spare.

The Wheels & Braking:

The pneumatic tires absorb much of the ride's jolts and jars, while the dual rubber suspension smooths out bumps along the way. Safety-wise, disc brakes bring the scooter to a halt promptly — crucial for those unexpected moments in urban jungles.

Overall Handling:

Maneuvering this e-scooter is surprisingly intuitive despite its weight. Comfort during rides isn't compromised either; whether I was weaving through traffic or coasting on open paths, control felt natural and effortless.

Maintenance and Repair:

Thankfully, maintenance was minimal during my test week. For more significant repairs or issues though, DIY know-how would be beneficial since parts aren't as readily available as I'd prefer. While dealing with the brand hasn't been necessary yet, I've heard they're reasonably supportive.

Additional Features:

Night rides were illuminated by integrated lights — a practical touch. However, there's no escaping the charm of customizing grip tape for added personality and traction; it's these small details that make daily use enjoyable beyond just getting from A to B.

8/10 — Deductions come from its weight and parts availability; otherwise, it's near-perfect for its intended market.

The OxO is best suited to someone looking for a long-range, well-built, and super smooth scooter. The superior build quality makes it enjoyable to ride, and with the option to adjust the suspension from Low to High and swap out the street grade tires for the knobby off-road type, it transitions seamlessly from urban terrain to off-road tracks. However, the relatively sluggish acceleration doesn’t give you quite the same exhilarating feeling as other dual motor scooters do. And for this reason, I don’t recommend it to anyone who has a need for speed. Even though 40 mph is quick, it’s the time it takes to get there that will put most people off.

The Inokim Oxo is one of the more expensive Inokim scooters at £2,199 or $3,119. But for the price you’re paying, you’re getting a scooter that is up there in terms of durability, design and delivering a peak performance that is almost unheard of. The Inokim Oxo is guaranteed to fulfil and exceed your expectations on so many levels and as such is a valuable investment that will provide endless scooter-worthy riding excitement for years to come.

INOKIM Oxo Electric Scooter Review
  • - 3.95
Big and powerful, this beast of an electric scooter represents the best of what the INOKIM brand can offer. Its superior speed comes from two motors, while the powerful (and heavy) 60 volt, 26Ah battery provides an extraordinary range. The pneumatic tires and suspension ensure a smooth, comfortable ride on just about any surface, including off-road. You don’t need to choose between a city scooter or an all-terrain scooter with the Inokim Oxo. This is not a cheap scooter by any means, but we’re happy to say that you get what you pay for.
