Editor's Note

Through alleys and over bridges, this e-scooter carried me effortlessly. It's reliable where it counts – speed consistency, handling stability, and battery endurance – yet there's room for enhancements in after-sales support and part accessibility.

Product Overview

Electric scooters have captured the urban commute scene by storm, and if you're someone always on the go or looking for a fun way to zip around town, the Inokim Quick 4 Super might just be your match. However, those looking for extreme thrills or heavy-duty off-road capabilities might glance in another direction.

Design and Build Quality:

Upon first inspection, Inokim Quick 4 Super impressed me with its robust frame and high-grade materials. The attention to detail is palpable, from its refined matte finish to the ergonomic grips that ensure a comfortable ride. Assembly was practically nonexistent – it was ready to ride straight out of the box.

Overall Performance:

Riding through city streets felt like a breeze with this e-scooter. Acceleration is smooth, allowing you to easily keep pace with bike lane traffic. Its 40 kph top speed is thrilling for quick commutes and exhilarating rides through the park. Climbing moderate hills posed no issue, maintaining a respectable speed without strain. Braking is reliable; I never felt out of control when coming to a stop. With a 70 km range on a full charge, I confidently made multiple trips without worrying about battery life.

The Motors & Battery:

The 600w motor packs enough punch for daily commuting and leisure rides alike. It doesn't quite offer that instant torque some thrill-seekers might crave but provides consistent power delivery across various terrains. Battery performance stayed true to expectations, consistently reaching near the advertised range before needing a recharge.

The Wheels & Braking:

Pneumatic tires and dual rubber suspension translated into smooth rides over urban imperfections. Unexpected potholes were still felt, but general road vibrations were significantly dampened. The drum brakes provided reliable stopping power even in wet conditions, instilling confidence during my daily commutes.

Overall Handling:

Handling proved nimble on crowded sidewalks and steady at higher speeds on open roads. Maneuvering around obstacles was intuitive, making it an excellent choice for weaving through busy streets or cruising along bike paths.

Maintenance and Repair:

Maintenance tasks like tire pressure checks and brake adjustments were straightforward for any rider familiar with basic bike maintenance. Dealing with customer service for repairs was more challenging than anticipated; responsiveness could improve significantly. Part availability was average – finding replacements wasn't overly difficult but not exceptionally convenient either.

Additional Features:

Integrated lights added peace of mind during night rides though I found the headlight could be brighter for unlit paths. The display was crisp and informative; however, direct sunlight readability wasn't its strongest suit.

Rating:

I'd give Inokim Quick 4 Super a solid 7/10. Performance and design were impressive; however, improvements could be made regarding customer service responsiveness and headlight brightness.

INOKIM Quick 4 Review

While the Quick 4 is a brilliant scooter with some outstanding features the LED display, drum brakes, and suspension, to name a few — I feel it's slightly too high on the price scale. Overall, though, credit where credit is due, the Quick 4 improves massively on its predecessor, the INOKIM Quick 3. It also benefits from INOKIM’s precise manufacturing process that uses CNC technology. This is used to cut out components from a single piece of aluminum to forgo welding which can open a scooter up to weak points, as well as producing models that are flawless in their design. As a result, the Quick 4’s build quality is nothing to be sniffed at and this is a major reason for its higher than normal price tag.

For $1,000, which is more or less the price the INOKIM Quick 4 Star comes in most marketplaces, you can certainly have a faster electric scooter than this. But what’s the point of that if you can’t ride that fast on the city roads? This electric scooter has all the needed features for an ideal e-scooter for commuters: it’s safe, it’s portable and easy to ride. The suspensions provide extra stability on the road. We recommend the INOKIM Quick 4 Star to all commuters who have the proper budget.

The INOKIM Quick 4 is an excellent e-scooter, capable of being useful whether you need an e-scooter for commuting or something to have a lot of fun with for the weekend. Is the INOKIM Quick 4 THE best commuter scooter though? The build quality and the balance between power, range and portability would certainly justify this title. Some design and engineering choices feel like genuine innovations and a huge step for the industry. However, despite the few drawbacks, Inokim has made many things very right with this e-scooter, which, even at a premium price, represents excellent value, too.

Overall, the Inokim Quick 4 cannot be knocked for the range, speed and portability it offers – all of these are brilliant and we just can’t fault this scooter based on this! It does have a slower speed but other factors make up for what it lacks. When it comes to speed, the faster you go on this electric scooter you will actually feel less stable as it become wobbly. The small deck size can also make you feel like you might slip off when braking as this seems to be a common issue that all users are experiencing and usually the main negative point about the scooter. However, the overall look of the bike, the range it offers and some of the features balance out the negative of the smaller deck.
