Scooting through the urban jungle on a Hiboy S22 has been quite the adventure. As someone who looks for a balance between thrills and practicality, this e-skateboard speaks to me and other city riders who crave speed but also value safety and convenience.

Design and Build Quality:

Out of the box, Hiboy S22's sleek appearance catches your eye with its polished, modern look. Sporting a solid deck and robust trucks, this e-skateboard gave off an impression of durability right from the get-go. Assembly wasn't a concern as it arrived ready to hit the pavement. Gripping the board for the first time, I could tell that careful thought went into selecting quality materials.

Overall Performance:

During my rides through bustling streets and occasional hilly terrains, S22's performance remained steadfast. Its zippy 30 km/h top speed combined with the dual 350 W motors meant I could weave through traffic with ease. However, when tackling steep inclines, I noticed a slight dip in power – nothing major but worth noting for hill-dwellers. Braking was smooth which is crucial for those unexpected moments in city commutes.

The Motors & Battery:

Pushing the S22 through different paces highlighted its robust motor performance – quick acceleration was a given. Yet, during extended jaunts, I observed that battery life didn't always live up to expectations; it was good but didn't quite match up to the specs promised every time. In denser urban areas with frequent stop-and-go scenarios, battery depletion was faster than anticipated.

The Wheels & Braking:

Daily navigation over sidewalk cracks and street potholes was decent thanks to the wheel design, though at times I felt every bump along my path due to their hardness. Safety was never compromised as braking responsiveness instilled confidence in managing quick stops.

Overall Handling:

Whether cruising down avenues or maneuvering around tight corners, handling remained intuitive and comfortable – an attribute newcomers will appreciate as much as seasoned riders. The board's weight felt balanced underfoot in various environments from smooth park paths to more challenging cobblestone alleys.

Maintenance and Repair:

Routine upkeep was manageable on my own – keeping wheels clean and screws tightened was all part of the game. When reaching out about a worn component, Hiboy's response was slower than desired, yet they did come through eventually by sending replacement parts after persistence on my part.

Additional Features:

Features like the responsive remote control made navigating cityscapes feel seamless while electric gauges provided essential ride data on-the-fly. No standout safety features emerged beyond standard expectations which left me wishing for just a little bit more innovation in that department.
