Product Overview

Electric skateboards are all the rage, and if you're someone who values a blend of power and range, the Verreal RS might just be your next ride. This isn't a board for the faint-hearted – it's for those who crave speed and have a good handle on skating. If long commutes or adrenaline-fueled weekend rides are your things, sit up and take notice.

Design and Build Quality:

Right out of the box, Verreal RS impresses with its robust construction. The deck felt sturdy underfoot, a testament to the quality of materials used. Sporting a minimalist yet functional design, every ride felt like an affirmation of durability. I found assembly to be straightforward – no fuss there.

Overall Performance:

Verreal RS took on commuting like a champ. It handled city streets with ease, making quick work of small obstacles and providing enough oomph to weave through traffic. When I pushed it to its top speed of 43 kph, this board didn't flinch. The exhilaration of going that fast was matched by its hill-climbing prowess; gradients up to 30% were conquered without breaking a sweat. Braking is smooth yet effective – crucial when navigating through bustling streets.

The Motors & Battery:

Dual belt-driven motors deliver raw power that you can feel with every acceleration. These beasts made sure I was never wanting for more juice, even when tackling steep inclines. The battery life stayed true to the advertised 35 km range, but keep in mind your mileage may vary based on weight and riding conditions. In different scenarios – from quick jaunts to extended excursions – the battery held up admirably.

The Wheels & Braking:

I noticed the wheels provided sufficient grip and stability during my daily rides. The regenerative braking system was a game-changer; not only did it offer controlled stopping power but also helped juice up the battery a bit during long descents.

Overall Handling:

Riding the Verreal RS was intuitive and comfortable across various terrains. From smooth pavements to less forgiving paths, handling remained responsive and reliable. Carving felt natural and transitioning from straight lines to sharp turns was effortless.

Maintenance and Repair:

Through my week with the Verreal RS, maintenance wasn't an issue as it stood up well to regular use. However, while parts are available online, their availability fluctuated which could be inconvenient for repairs down the line.

Additional Features:

The remote control deserves praise for its ergonomic design and intuitive controls – it quickly became second nature in my riding routine. While there aren't many bells and whistles in terms of safety features, what's there does not disappoint.

Rating:

Considering everything I've experienced with this board, I'd give it an 8/10. Its performance metrics are solid but I took points off for lack of water resistance which is important for durability.
