Product Overview

If you're all about zooming through cityscapes with ease or you live for the thrill of open road adventures on an e-scooter, then the Speedway 5 beckons. This ride is tailored for enthusiasts who value power and extended range but also for those seeking that extra punch in their daily commute.

Design and Build Quality:

Speedway 5 strikes a balance between robustness and aesthetics. Solid to the touch, its choice of high-grade materials speaks volumes of durability. Assembly, a breeze, had me up and running in no time. Standout design elements like the sleek dual springs caught eyes during my rides, not just for their looks but also for how they contributed to a smoother journey.

Overall Performance:

This scooter handles a variety of tasks with finesse. Commuting becomes less mundane; it's more akin to slicing through urban landscapes. The fun factor is undeniable - hitting that 60 kph top speed feels like you're flying low, with acceleration swift enough to leave most troubles behind. Hills? They're mere bumps thanks to this beast's hill-climbing prowess. Braking is responsive too, giving you confidence in your control.

The Motors & Battery:

Twin hub motors deliver that gut-punch of acceleration, making me grin every time I throttled up. Battery life was impressive – I cruised close to the promised range without babying the throttle, even when tackling steeper inclines or zipping along at higher speeds.

The Wheels & Braking:

Pneumatic tires cushioned many a pothole on my jaunts around town, contributing to a much-appreciated comfort level. Braking was crisp and reliable, which is crucial when navigating through unpredictable city traffic or when a quick stop is necessary.

Overall Handling:

Maneuvering this scooter felt natural whether cruising down straightaways or weaving through tight spaces. Comfort wasn't an afterthought; even after lengthy rides, I stepped off without feeling beat up by the journey.

Maintenance and Repair:

Maintenance was mostly straightforward; keeping things clean and tight ensured a smooth ride. When faced with issues, while direct brand support could be hit-or-miss, I found parts reasonably easy to source – a relief for those who prefer handling things themselves.

Additional Features:

Integrated lights proved their worth during evening escapades while quality remote control and electric gauges brought convenience and modernity into daily use. These features didn't just feel tacked on but seamlessly merged into my riding routine.

Rating:

I'd rate the Speedway 5 an enthusiastic 8/10. The blend of raw power, range, and thoughtful features set it apart, though some improvements could be made in brand support and water resistance.

The Speedway 5 Electric Scooter Review, Affordable 40 MPH Electric Commuter
vrooomin.com
  • - 4.3
For the price, the speedway 5 is an excellent dual motor electric scooter. There are faster and slower electric scooter that cost more and less than the speedway 5, but none of them have the Speedway 5's aggressive sporty chassis and low price. If you're a budget rider who doesn't have 3-5k to spend on an extreme performance electric scooter, the Speedway 5's will be a good value and will meet the majority of your commuting needs.
